  • Climbing in Leonidio feels like.. Part #1 (climbing achievement: lead 5c+ and top roped 6a+... goal for the next time: lead at least 3 routes and top rope a 6b) For my non climbing friends. Leading means you have the rope under you and you bring it along the route, clipping yourself to the wall as you go. This gives the feeling you are climbing without protection because you don't feel the tension of the rope especially when you pass the previous clipping point. I used to do lead climbing years ago and I wanted to get better mentally and not be afraid of falling. So I started practicing controlled falls which caused me more fear and eventually I quit climbing on a frequent basis and went only on occasions. But last couple of weeks I got into it again. So let see if I can get rid of my fear of leading this time💪
